can hardly believe that the tsunami hit and ran, taking a total of 60,000 lives and counting. makes you think that life is so unpredictable huh? people just wanting to have a good time and the next moment, they have passed on.  i really hope that the survivors recover really soon, missing ppl still alive get found soon and that we can contain the disease and sickness that will follow after the contamination of amenities. life will go on but let's not take it for granted yeah? =T

anyway, on a more hopeful note, HAPPY NEW YEAR! cannot wait to see the NU ppl again and have another interesting n.c.c. quarter. ;) new year's resolutions:

exercise (ha. ha. ha. but we can do it LISA!)

get better grades now that i am free of all extra curricular activities.

make money (hmmm... maybe sashimi sashimi with my rice cakes Jessica?)

eat more chicken skin (chicken shack anyone?)

continue having good times (doin' that thang wit mah hmegrlz Y&D completing our volume 1 aight?)

that's it. gimme suggestions if you are free cos these resolutions are a bit shallow hahahahahhahaa... bye!

it's friday again! the sun is out and it's time to play again! woo woo! i love fridays. especially a cool, sunny one like this. pretty much puts me in the mood i was in after seeing Before Sunset, a truly wonderful romantic, light hearted movie! truly the best picture of the year so far! sigh =D

speaking of movies, a number of interesting ones are coming out soon that i would love to see:

The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi - japanese samurai/ninja flick. woohoo!

We Don't Live Here Anymore - Naomi Watts.... I couldn't ask for more than the apple of my eye. ;)

The Grudge - remake of japanese horror movie of the same name. let's see how good/bad this one is! interesting to note that it's the same japanese original director making this american remake!

The Village - wanna see what twist this one Night has for us.

Closer - Julia Roberts. Jude Law. Natalie Portman. Clive Owen. Who can resist a cast like that?!?

Garden State - I've been told this flick is interesting at first but didn't have a good development towards the end. However, Natalie Portman again should make this worth watching!

well, those are the movies i wanna see in the near future. Is all. for now, go see Before Sunset NOW! you don't even need to see Before Sunrise to enjoy it as much as i did. simply beautiful. hehe.
